This is something that can hardly be described.
If it’s the first Ed Wood production you’ve ever seen you’ll be astounded/terrified/reduced to helpless laughter. But seeing the “Ed Wood” movie and some of his other masterpieces (“Plan 9 from Outer Space”) will fill in the blanks.
This movie has it all. Bela Lugosi as a mad scientists with nothing to do with the plot. Don’t miss his “Bevare! The Kreen Drakon! He itts poppy dock tells undt kret bik snells! BEVARE!!” speech. The “dream/orgy” scene complete with cheesy needle-drop “jazz” score. The “doctor” explainined the differences between transvestites, pseudo-hermaphrodites and full hermaphrodites. The state of transgender surgery outside the US.
It really shows how much things changed in just a few years. In any major city, the sight of transvestites doesn’t even rate a second glance anymore.
Defintely a MUST SEE!
